Interact Club

Advisor: Andrea Temple


Purpose: Interact is a service club for young people ages 14 – 18 sponsored by the local Brunswick Rotary. Interact stands for “International Action,” developing and supporting local international service projects is the goal. Interact exists in over 110 countries and promotes active service at home and abroad, expanding students’ understanding of the world while promoting goodwill is the key.

Activities and pursuits:
Walk to End Alzheimer's (benefiting the Alzheimers Association)
PumpkinFest (benefiting Camp Sunshine)
Town of Topsham Trunk or Treat
TeamSanta (benefiting MTA HS families)
“Cram the Van” food drive (benefiting Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program)
Red Kettle Campaign (benefiting the Salvation Army)
Pennies for Peace (Central Asia Institute)
Valentines for Seniors (benefiting MSAD75 Community)
Capstone Day Bake Sale (2023 donation to the Judy Higbea fund)
Others include: Doctors Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, Sunnybrook Village, Tedford Shelter, and Heifer International.


Other information: Joining Interact is a great way to make new friends, work on activities and fundraising, and have fun at the same time.
